Our salon rules are meant to establish understanding of our policies and answer frequently asked questions. We highly encourage you to review this page before your appointment. If you disagree, we understand and encourage you to seek service elsewhere.
Due to the behavior of past customers, we must make it clear that no haggling or attempts to reduce price of service will be tolerated.
ONLINE BOOKING
A $10.00 NON-REFUNDABLE is required at the time of online booking. If deposit is not paid, then appointment will not be booked.
PHONE BOOKING
A $15.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required at the time of booking over the phone. CASH or ZELLE are the only accepted payment. If deposit is not paid within 24 hours, APPOINTMENT IS NOT GUARENTEED.
*THE BOOKING FEE/DEPOSIT IS SEPARATE FROM THE FINAL PRICE!
The non-refundable booking fee is not included in the final price of styling your hair and is separate for several reasons:
Due to fraudulent payments, you will now be required to pay your balance BEFORE your hair is finished.
The process will follow as such. Right before your hair is completed, your Braider will allow you to inspect the work done. Once you approve the styling of your hair, you will be required to pay what is due with cash, card, or Zelle.
ALL appointments cancelled 72 hours before an appointment is NON-REFUNDABLE.
If possible, please send an image of the desired look to mariyamhairandfashionllc@gmail.com or at (404)447-3220. Include your name in the message as it appears in booking.
Please book the correct service for the hairstyle you want as it cannot be changed the day of or during your appointment to a different hairstyle. If you book a service but realize it's not what you want, cancel and reschedule online within our cancellation policy or call and reschedule.
You CANNOT change your hairstyle the day of OR select a shorter timed hairstyle then come in requesting a different hair style that takes longer than originally selected.
EXAMPLE: You book cornrow braids (2 hours) but request a different style the day of or a style that takes longer at the time of your appointment.
You will be asked to reschedule to avoid disrupting other clients' appointments.
Once your hair is completed, you are required to check your hair before leaving the salon and verify that you are satisfied with the style. We do not offer refunds AFTER 24 HOURS.
Walk-In appointments are welcomed but please be advised that scheduled appointments WILL come first. This will require you to wait until available seating opens.
All shampoo and conditioning services are $35. Please review requirements for shampoo and conditioning under the Applications category.
NO MICRO SATURDAYS
NO FORM OF MICRO BRAIDS CAN BE BOOKED ON SATURDAYS. Due to how lengthy the process is, providing mircro braiding services on one of our busiest days, Saturday, is not possible at this time.
SUPPLY YOUR MICRO
Clients who book micro braids, DURING THE WEEK , must supply their own hair. The current price to complete the style at our salon is $250 flat rate fee as you will provide your own hair.
UNATTENDED CHILDREN
YOU MAY NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED FOR MORE THAN ONE HOUR. If you're child is left unattended at the shop for more than one hour, you will lose your spot to recieve service.
Please arrange child care before your appointment for children under the age of 12. This will limit disruptions, improve business productivity, and improve time management. If not, we will need to reschedule.

If a situation arises where we must refuse service or ask you to reschedule, we will refer you to our Salon Rules page to explain the reason. We strongly encourage all clients to review this page in advance to help us create a smooth and enjoyable experience for both you and the salon.
